This one day course is a practical introduction to navigation.  We will introduce the basic concepts of weather and tides, as well as the practical essentials such as bearings and location reporting.  This is aimed at total beginners who have little or no previous knowledge or understanding.  At the end of the day, you will have enough basic understanding and knowledge to conduct simple coastal journeys and be a safer sea paddler.
